Consumers urged to use extra caution while holiday shopping

Attorney General Tom Corbett urged consumers to use extra caution during the holiday season.

"The pleasure of the holiday season can quickly be spoiled by crimes like identity theft or disputes involving gift purchases," Corbett said.

The Attorney General's Bureau of Consumer Protection offers tips to help consumers avoid most common problems related to retail shopping, online purchases, ID Theft and charitable giving.
